We had the pleasure of meeting Chris Ahern back in 2013 when we received a tender from him to co-design and build our purpose-built dental & medical facility in Kirwan, Qld. From the moment we read and accepted his tender, we knew we were dealing with an absolute professional.

During the process we found Chris to be knowledgeable, efficient, ethical and his calm & friendly nature meant that the process was enjoyable and mostly stress-free. We had built a couple of residential projects in the past but this was our first commercial project. Chris went 'above and beyond' on so many occasions and thus he was able to provide us with our Vision in its entirety. He has a knack for dealing with pressure and changes and also coming up with innovative solutions to issues that invariably arise during projects like these.  We can see he has good working relationships with his sub-contractors, they too were a pleasure to deal with.  In fact, we even had positive comments from our finance banker saying how professional, accurate and timely his reports and statements were during the project.

In short, if we were to ever build again we would go straight to Citibuild.  No question.

Our development company Property NQ P/L sourced a design and construct contract with Citibuild to complete works at our building at 254 Ross River road.

The open book approach in meeting our strict budget enabled us to coordinate the works in a timely manner with our multiple tenants. In particular, Chris' warm and engaging manner with the occupants under sometimes difficult circumstances led to a very successful outcome for all stakeholders.

Scope of works included demolition, extensions, fit out and external works carried out over staged timeframes to meet tenant's lease conditions.
